HEY, I’M KATE! THE CREATIVE BEHIND GONE WEST COLLECTIVE.


I'm a photographer and content creator based in Carson City, working with businesses, makers, and brands across Carson Valley and the surrounding areas who want their online presence to look as good as their business feels in person.

Gone West Collective grew out of a love of storytelling, community, and a deep respect for the people and the passion behind every business. I've worn a lot of hats over the years, from ranch life and outdoor guiding to events, healthcare, nightlife, and creative work. Every season taught me the same thing: people connect with real stories and real people. That's the heart of everything I do.

When I'm not creating content, you'll usually find me outside, chasing sunsets, near the water, or wandering somewhere new with my camera. I'm a mom, a business owner, and someone who's always believed in working hard and building a life with room for both ambition and adventure. I love real conversations, good coffee, fresh air, and the kind of day that ends a little dusty and sun tired.

Gone West Collective is more than a business to me. It's my own thing, built from scratch, and it lets me help other people share the work they've poured their hearts into.
